technically it was under recall. it should have been done as part of a recall long ago. the bolts were removed and reinstalled with locktite to prevent them from damage. some dealer techs just said they did it and didn't do it. Call land rover first and explain that they came out and the damage done. The body shop has to fix the parts by tachwelding them in. Its expensive and a pain in the ***. I can't tell you how many of those I found with the bolts half hanging out because dealer techs took credit for the repair and didn't actually do it. if the repair was done right then it would not have popped out. Talk to land rover itself before going to the dealer. That way when they get to the dealer they can farm it out to the bodyshop and the dealer that does the repair won't lose. The dealer that did the repair or say they did it will get charged back for it.
