Default Hazards, lock/unlock go off when keys out

What is going on? Took keys out after long drive then hazard lights and lock/unlock is flashing. Only goes away when truck turned on. There is park brake fault message but it’s been there for a couple months and epb working fine. Keeping lr3 on so I can get back home. Any ideas on what to check? Ty.

Has it rained recently? This can be one of many symptoms of water getting onto the central junction box - located behind the glove box, it also houses a ton of fuses.

Interesting… all back to normal now. Passenger floor is bone dry so not seeing expected wet floor symptoms. Could anti theft system activate these flashing lights and locks somehow if doors arm’s closed fully? I haven’t changed arm battery since purchasing 4 years ago so may just replace one this weekend. When I start truck my voltage reports 14.0-14.3. When driving it reports 13.8-14. Shouldn’t voltage be above 14 under load?

The hazards going off and doors locking/unlocking are symptoms of cluster failure or other can-bus faults.

Default I think I have seen this before.

I agree.
As I recall, there was a thread here but I cannot find it now that talks about this and it pointed to the HVAC control module. (or not)

Update: replaced battery three weeks ago and I haven’t seen weird electrical issues since: intermittent dash rebooting with electronic park brake fault error, lights flashing and doors locking/unlocking.

Now time to finally deal with check engine, brake, and TPM warning lights on dash.
