Heated Windshield Fix?

Heated Windshield Fix?
I've been troubleshooting my heated windshield for a while now. Checked the fuses, relays and connections on the A pillars but only the passenger side works along with a few elements on the driver side. I'm guessing the windshield itself has broken elements in it since a few of the driver side elements work but not all? If it was a relay or fuse it seems like the entire driver side wouldn't work.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a fix that wasn't replacing the whole windshield. Thanks!

Each side is fused separate. And it looks like some, if very little, is working on the left. Meaning it is getting power. Thus the only solution I am aware of is to replace the windshield. I suspect they suffer corrosion issues along the top/bottom edges somehow. Mine was similar to yours with the passenger side working really well and the driver side barely. New windshield and everything is 100% working again.

Safelite did three windshields on mine, all within short order. First was PGP or some aftermarket one. Horrible. Second one was LR badged and looked great, but they messed up the install. Third is Pilkington, OEM, but they also messed up install. Insurance covered it all. But I think grand total would have been about $1k installed. Also my insurance wants them to do a fourth to get it right, but I wont deal with those idiots again at Safelite. Of note, safelite insisted no OEM glass existed anywhere which is how I ended up with the bad aftermarket the first time. Then magically OEM glass was appearing all over the place when my insurance got involved in getting it dont right.
