Default Help me identify tinny metal rattling sound coming from under front passenger area

It sounds like a tinny, light metal rattling, which gets louder with acceleration and immediately stops when you take your foot off the gas. The sound appears to be coming from underneath the floor at the passenger footwell or in or under the passenger front seat.

(Attempting to move or wiggle the passenger seat manually does not reproduce the sound, BTW.)

Here's a link to a short audio recording:

Rattling Sound

Anyone heard this before? Thanks!

If a heat shield or exhaust manifold has come loose, would the solution be tightening of bolts, re-welding, or parts replacement?

Rather than to the LR dealer, would you take vehicle to an exhaust shop for evaluation?

Many thanks, guys. My experience has been more with electronics than mechanics, and I appreciate your suggestions.

All depends on why the shield is loose...

An independent repair shop or an exhaust shop could evaluate and fix.

I suck at electronics so you will be asked at some point in the future to help me out I'm sure. Maybe you can come up with a solution for the stoopid alternator regulator not charging the battery fully issue.
