That is my conclusion too. It's "neat" but not something I really need at this point. Interesting story, when I ordered the LR3 back in February 2005, I checked the box for the "cooler console" and not for the "cold climate package." After a few weeks they called me and said that LR couldn't provide that option for some reason...I think they were having supply issues. So, since in my mind X dollars were already spent, I opted to do the Cold Climate Package and I think I changed the way the rear seats folded. It was nearly the same money. WOW! So glad that happened...the CC Package provides SO much utility, to me!
