How to remove radio console/panel?

How to remove radio console/panel?

Anybody know how to do it? Im trying to hardwire my Garmin GPS into a 12v source.

From:

Pull out on the bottom of the vertical plastic pillars on either side of the radio, and climate control system down by the ash tray.

Thanks. I got the vertical plastic pillars out. I removed the two hex screws holding the 12V/cigarette panel out. It doesnt seem to come out all the way. hmmmm
