You are talking about the grill badge right... The one that is basically the company logo and not the lettering on the hood? If its the emblem then you can just get it replaced. Atlantic British might have one in stock or I bet you can find one on ebay resonably cheap. But, because you said "silver" I think you are talking about the lettering on the hood. There are kits available online at various locations. I'd try ebay first and most of the time you can remove the lettering and put new ones on. The paint peels from owner neglect and usual wear and tear. you might also be able to get a "touchup" kit and just repaint them because, they are just going to fade in a few years anyways. I'm not sure if the letters are bolted on or are just stuck on with glue....someone else will probably post with that info because if it is on their with glue it will be easy to take them off and reapply the new ones but, bolted is a different story. I'd just get some model glue and paint them myself but, good luck to ya.

Hi my friend, thanks for the reply!.. Yes its the hood emblem, and the color is like grey metalic, the thing is i dont know if i should paint it, as i think its imposible to know the correct paint and if it will stick on the letters... second of all , you are rigth! they will fade againg in a couple of years.. i dont know what to do , as the word 'LAND' is the one faded and the 'ROVER' still has its color.. and if i buy the 'LAND' word , it will look newest than the 'ROVER' word.. ill see what i can do .. thank you very much

Is your vehicle still under warrantee? My dealer just replaced mine no-charge. The gray was chipping off on some of the letters.

I'm surprised they changed yours, DRZ, since I'm fairly sure yours is chipping from shots taken on the LR3 by fighting the Taliban and running through the thick bush in Africa looking for poachers. But we'll keep that bit of info between us!!
