Default I just picked up an LR3

I have been looking for an LR3 for my son to take to college at Montanan State. He wanted to take his Dirt Bike and his Subaru just can't hold a bumper rack. I found a 2007 SE with 163K. it has code for CAT, needs tires and it won't go into Low range. I looked here for answers and doesn't look like it's going to take too much to get in it back in shape. It looks great and runs even better. I got it for $3000 this makes my 3rd land rover I have owned.

At first glance, that seems like a damn good price. The cat, there are two, may not even be at fault - could just be the downstream sensor with any luck. But the cats can fail on these of course. Low gear might just the be transfer box solenoid. Not hard or expensive, but a guess as of right now.

Looks pretty good to me, the problems seem to be minor and the body is great, good catch!

The 2007 got new tires and 2.5 Johnson Rod lift today. Much better.
