Default Intermittent parking brake fault error 2008 lr3

For past few days I’ve started getting quick intermittent parking brake fault message while accelerating uphill, navigation screen turns off, then display comes back like it rebooted. For past few weeks I’ve also noticed acceleration between 40-46mph hesitating. The rpm gauge bumps up and down until I get passed 50mph. This doesn’t occur in manual shifting. Any ideas of theses symptoms and if they are related? Went to Napa to have codes checked and only seeing usual o2 sensor codes. Nothing reporting for transmissions. Ty.

I just experienced same weird issue again today. While accelerating, parking brake fault displays, navigation screen and speedometer screens seem to reboot. It comes back but have never seen this before. It doesn’t happen every time I accelerate. It’s intermittent and seems random. Does anyone have any clues on what to check next? Ty.

What is your battery voltage with engine off?
What is the voltage engine on? This will be supplied by the accumulator.

The reboot sounds very much like your accumulator would be starting to fail. i had the same happen driving up the hill a few months ago, diagnosed it and fixed it by replacing both the old original accumulator and a new AGM battery.

Almost sounds like a loose battery terminal connection, loose ground or alternator failing which is creating voltage spikes or dips under high RPM.

What the heck is the accumulator?

Lol. I should read what I type and not use the iPad since its autocorrect changes things. I meant the alternator. 😂

Ope! I was wondering but honestly did not at all think you meant alternator. LOL Well at least we are on the same theory of the cause.

But historically an accumulator is what we call a battery nowadays.

Thanks for the replies. Will check and maybe just replace battery since it’s been a couple years. Will also check battery connections for anything loose.
