Has anyone found a resolution to the pairing problem not sticking? I have an '06 LR3 and just switched to an iPhone. The challenge of not auto-connecting is driving me crazy!

From what I understand, the latest LR3's (2008 and later?) don't exhibit this issue. I gather the Bluetooth module for these newer models had a hardware or firmware update.

Other owners have heard from reputable Land Rover service sources there are no plans to provide a dealer firmware upgrade to the older LR3 Bluetooth modules. I would assume that the new Bluetooth modules could be purchased (not part of the radio head unit?), and I have to believe that it would be a drop-in replacement. I've been too afraid of the potential parts/labor costs involved to even ask the dealer about this yet.

If anyone has asked, I'd be interested in their experience.

I have an 06 and an iPhone (v3.1.2) and have no issues.

I occasionally have to re-attach it, but that's normally after the wife's been it and attached hers.
