Default Issue with Finish on Rims / Badging

I've noticed that the finish on my rims is beginning to chip, leaving darker grey spots in places and the same thing on the Land Rover lettering on the hood.

Anyone else have this happen? I'm wondering if this is something covered under warranty.

I haven't taken it in yet. I has some time left on my warranty, so I will just have them look at it next time I'm in there for an oil change.

I'll let everyone know whatI find out.

I took my LR3 to the dealer for regular service and mentioned that the lettering is peeling. They replaced the lettering under warranty.
