Post Help needed with Aux Cable

Hello,

I hope someone can help me. I want to use the aux input in my RR Sport '05. I miss the green cable to the Aux input. Someone knows why? Does it comes with the car?

Thanks and kind regards

Not sure if there are models that do/do not come with them but this is exactly how mine was in the pic. I have noticed however that my AUX connection has been giving issue when connected as if it is not making good connection. I started out with a Bluetooth adapter from amazon and it worked great until the input started giving me issue.

It works really well. you can connect it to your output and USB. it comes on when the LR is started and auto connects to the last device it was previously connected to. Goes off when vehicle is shut off. I've only had to manually connect it a few times but usually when i start the LR the walk away with my phone in my pocket. When I come back to the LR, unless I've left it, I will have to reconnect it.

Also I should note that I have also added a dedicated USB in lieu of the cig plug in that location.

My D3 didn't have an aux input so i just tapped into the plug on the back of the stereo, there are 4 wires on the plug, left/right and 2 grounds. I read that connecting to both grounds fixes the low sound issue most people experience when using the input.

loanrangie,
Do you by chance remember the color of the wires you tapped into? I attempted this from another post to stow the Bluetooth adapter behind the dash but to no avail.

From memory red and blue, they are on a small plug with only 4 wires separate to the main connector.

I forgot to mention the other 2 wires are black ( both grounds) , red is left channel and blue is right channel.
