Which Land Rover? LR3 vs Disco I vs Disco II or possibly Land Cruiser?

As others have said, LR3. But... it's a quirky truck and you have to plan for some expensive repairs. Rear diff rebuild or replace is likely. Other potential issues as well. Throws suspension faults not infrequently. Air pump will likely need to be replaced.
Disco II... ugh. Pretty solid truck in my experience excepting the engine. If you can do head gaskets yourself, you can get them for next to nothing. Otherwise plan on paying for head gaskets every 60K miles. I had two blocks replaced under warranty (fortunately) then had head gaskets fail as expected at 63K miles on the 2nd new block. Really liked that truck except for the engine problems.
Liking the LR3 more than the Disco II. It's been a great truck for the few years I've had it. I did have to get my diff rebuilt.
