Default LR3 2 Escalade back 2 LR3

Had an '05 SE V8 for 6 years and 95k trouble free miles and like a fool, got that nervous feeling just over 100k and sold it... bought the wife a 2010 Cadi Hybrid Escalade to replace and after about 5 months she said "it just isn't nearly the car I had". Full guilt trip, so the Cadi was sold and I just bought a 2006 HSE(67k miles) that I pick up tomorrow morning.

The board was great to reinforce my belief that this was the right choice and I appreciate the help on the direction of the extended warranty(Ford ESP).

The experience and wisdom on this board is much appreciated and an incredible resource.

Thanks again all

Just got it home and really went thru all the records.. The previous owner spent over $6k in the last 12 months on it... One thing that really surprised me and I can't believe I missed this, no seat heaters. I can't believe the HSE didn't have these as standard features. My previous SE was better optioned than this HSE.. crazy!

It is nice though and it's good to see all the work the previous guy did that I won't have to worry about.

The only thing I like about my buddy's Cadi, was the engine. We towed his boat and our bikes without any struggles. But the shiet is simply an over-glorified Chevy SUV.....

I have owned several GM's, including an '07 Denali (GMC's version of the Escalade) and I must say, GM has gone to crap. I like my Range Rover so much more and doesn't have all the nonsense issues like the Denali did.

I think you made a good choice.

Yeah, great motor and a good driver but too much plastic for a car that pricey.

Just a few days into to it but I'm feeling the same way.. all that at less than half the cost too.
