Default LR3 2005 or 2006

Ok I'm about to buy a new to me LR3. I have a choice between two HSE models. The 2005 has 63,000 miles and the 2006 has 90,000 miles. Which one would you buy. Also the 2005 is $900.00 less. Thanks.... Was there any major differences between the 2 years?

2006

The 2005 was the first year of the LR3 and had a lot of bugs yet to be worked out which resulted in recalls and TSBs which lead to less-than-average reliability ratings and reviews.

Also, why is the 2005 - with 27,000 less miles - cheaper than the 2006? Any links you can post to a CL ad or dealer website? With more details and info we could give a better recommendation.

Edit: all else equal, the lower mileage vehicle is better but in this case I don't think they're equal. Get a pre-purchase inspection regardless of which one you settle on. Or do both and use that to decide (lol). Money well spent.

I would go for the 2005. I would imagine all the recall bugs were ironed out a long time ago.

Plus: The 2006 HSE did not get lumbar support/adjustments. LR left them out for this year.....

Service records would tell you which recalls and TSBs were performed. Get those and you're decision is easier.
