Default LR3 2006 Hi beam problem

Hello.
last night i replaced the air compressor, so i unplugged the battery for a little bit. Today I noticed that my hi beam wont work with light switch on auto. If I flash, it works. when i push the lever out for continuous hi beam it doesn't work. When I flip the swith off auto and push the lever it works in both flash and continuous setting. Back at auto lights and it only works on flash.. ANy ideas?

I would try a hard reset again.

well , today I lost the radio volume. That reminded me of old battery issue. I reinserted the battery terminal, which was looking great, a lot of dielectric grease. That fixed the issue for both hi beam and radio.
Thanks for the reply.

Dielectric grease is an insulator, fyi. I never put it on connections themselves.
