I have an LR3 06 base model and want to add an auto dim rearview mirror with homelink (garage dooe opener)
The dealer says its not possible as the car does not have the wiring harness to support the mirror.
Surely there is an after market mirror that Ican fit.
Also, how do you get thecurrnet mirror off the windshield?
Any help would be great, thanks

 

the dealer is wrong. the wiring is there already, as with many other models, lr3s use the same harness for the headliner across the board, some features arent always there, but the wiring for it is. all you need is power and ground to the mirror for both features to work, everything else is intragal to the mirror
