Hi All,
I have a 2007 LR3 HSE. Looking for a code reader and clearer to help diagnose and also get myself out of a jam WHEN needed. Searched the forum and found many posts with great information but it all seamed very dated, 2018 and older. Technology changes so quickly.
I have no preference bluetooth, wifi, app based.... I'm looking for the most simplistic, get the job done, reader tool for a good price. No bells and whistles needed,,, the LR3 has more than enough already. Links would be VERY much appreciated.
* If it maters, I'm an apple guy.

GAP tool is the no brainer choice. They have an iPhone app that works with their scantool. Autel AP200C will also do most of what you need for much less.

 

LOL..... Double Mountain to hang for bears and great pizza, pFriem for the beer in my fridge.

 

Any idea what the AP200C will not do?

Also, I meet a guy years back that referenced an override plug in for the suspension that could help get you out of a jam. Does anyone know what he was referencing or if the GAP Tool or AP200C could also fill this ability.

 

There is certainly no "override plug" that I know of, but you can get out of a jam with the GAP tool.

 

a GAP tool will do that. honestly, despite being pricey the GAP tool will pay for itself many times over.

clearing codes, resetting adaptions, vehicle reset, suspension calibration, changing suspension heights, programming new keys, live values, just to name a few functions.

 

Listen to the board, man....how many endorsements for the GAP tool do you need? We don't work for or get paid by GAP Diagnostics, either!
