Ok folks. A problem for you. My drivers window stopped working. I can hear a click when I press the switch so power is there.
Bought a "new" motor on Ebay - fitted it but still didnt work.
Figured it was the regulator. BOught a "new" one on ebay. came with a motor. Tried that one too - didnt work.
Took speaker off and with motor removed found I could slide the window up and down in the regulator. Conclude regulator IS working.
So what gives?
I plugged the motor into the power cable ( tried all three of them!) and find that the central cog does NOT spin when power is supplied from the switch.
do I have three bad motors? Is there something I am not doing to engage the cog properly?
Ideas welcome!!!!
