I have a factory long roof rail system on my D3 and want to get some fittings to attach a custom carrier I've built, under my roof-top tent.
The ARB cross bars came with LR fittings, but I can't source the fittings on their own.
The LR saleman suggested I buy a Snowboard Kit (I live in the tropics) and take the fittings from that. At $400+ that doesn't seem too smart to me. He said that LR don't sell them seperately which also doesn't sound too smart to me, because how does LR think owners are supposed to attach things to their factory roof rails if they don't make fittings to suit?
Anyway if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it very much.

Further to that I have an ARB roof rail system in a box in the shed if anyone is interested.
I bought that first (cheaper) but it has rails along the back section and a single cross bar at the front. Unfortunately my roof-top tent needed a support in the gap between the two and consequently was no good for me, so I had to get the factory rails. It's unused in the original box if anyone is interested.
