I have a friend who has a 2001 LR3. Her problem seems to be if she removes the ignition key the battery has a drain however if she leaves the key in the ignition after shutting the engine off there is no drain on the battery. Anyone know anything about this issue?

 

Please verify the year and model of your friend's vehicle. The LR3 did not exist until 2005. If it's a Discovery 2, you're going to want to move your post so you can get better responses.
