P0513-00 (28) Incorrect Immobilizer Key
This code has been coming up for a long time with either key. I actually think it started when I programmed a second key with the GAP tool. I don't ever seem to have starting issues. I know there are more than a few ghost codes that come up on these trucks often, but this one worries me simply because of the places I go which are often remote and hundred of miles from anther human. So any ideas?

I think you are right to be investigating before it potentially becomes an issue.
This seems be a very uncommon code. Not many references to it on the forums, GAP manual, or LR3 shop manual. I suppose JLR may be silent on immobilizer design for security reasons.
One of the few threads I found on the topic suggested it was relieved with the proverbial new battery. Given yours appeared after programming a new key, I’d start there. Do you happen to know which key is the “new” one? Try clearing the code and then exclusively use the “old” key for a while to see if the code does not return. This won’t fix anything, but it could help pin point the problem to the key or the immobilizer.
For an actual fix, I would try removing the new key from the memory and then reprogramming. Its possible something minor in the programming didn’t take.
