LR3 Locking Diff question
Hello, First of all we just purchased our first Land Rover. We are Stoked!! Always wanted one! Its a '08 LR3 SE. We have been gently playing with it in the back yard and have been amazed at how easy it goes over obstacles. I also have a Ford F350 and when that truck is spinning the tires trying to get over something the LR3 just putts on through. AMAZING!
Now for the question. In the rock crawl mode, the front differential lock engages however the indicator does not show the rear one engaging. Should they both engage together? Or is the rear Diff lock engaged by some other means? I assumed when placing it in rock crawl mode both of the diffs would lock. Yall advise would be great! Thanks

Thanks for the response! I have a full sized spare. I assumed it has a rear diff lock because the computer screen ( navigation screen in 4x4 status) shows a diff in the middle and in the rear. Well it shows a picture of a Lock over the axle and transmission, which I assume to represent the locking diff. In rock crawl mode the front pic is of a lock closed but the rear one is still open. Does that make sense. Of course I could refer to the owners manual however one did not come with my LR3. Waiting on it to get here.
