Cool LR3 p1070 code

Just got P1070 code on my LR3 HSE and starts stuttering when under stress. Anyone had this issue?

Clean the MAF sensor and clean the throttle body. Check for vacuum leaks. Replace upstream O2 sensors.

Did you mean P0170?

FYI - sometimes cleaning MAF doesn't help, especially if it is 120k+ miles

A new OEM MAF sensor (don't buy cheap) fixed mine - changed after new OEM PCV valve was installed

good luck!

Chased one for a few months recently. Tried a TB gasket, came back...tried cleaning the MAF, came back.

Gave up and got a new Denso sensor, fixed it right away.

No more sluggishness no more codes.

They aren't terribly expensive either, got it for $100 on Partsgeek. Part number on the site is

Thanks for tips everyone,
I did replace PVC valve and Coil/spark plugs few months back. I think I will order the MAF sensor first and see will that help, if not I will get O2 sensors.
I will let you know the results.

You might want to also try a Throttle Body Adaptation (reset) to zero out your baseline

Opening up and cleaning/fiddling with the TB could have left it in a position it is not expecting

It ran fine for a while after I cleaned it and I knew not to move it manually for that reason but I could have bumped it or something to trow it off. how do you reset it?

with a diagnostic tool like IIDtool from GAP or similar

not sure if the “hard reset” via battery cables will do or not - someone else may chime in
