LR3 Pricing?
Several months ago I posted with questions about buying a '99 Disco II - advise I got was very helpful and I am having a great time with her! So I'm seeking the forum's wisdom again...
My wife needs a new car and we've got an LR3 in mind. Our local dealer has an '06 LR3 SE demo with a little less than 6,000 miles. This LR3 has of course the balance of the factory warranty plus:
Satellite Radio
Cold Climate Package
On/Off-Road Premium Navigation
Lighting Package & Rear PDC
Personal Telephone Integration System with Bluetooth
Rear Seat & Climate Package
They're asking ~$45,500 and original MSRP was $54,050.
Does that sound close to a good price? What are new '06 LR3 selling for this time of year? Are there any current dealer incentives?
I really appreciate input on this.

That sounds like a good deal to me. We just bought one but it was through the "A" plan, ford employee discount. We got a better than the dealership can get, (ford sends the dealer a rebate) I did do quite a bit of research though.

Thanks for the input - we bought her last week just in time for a short 600 mile trip over the weekend. Can't believe we are now a 2 Land Rover household!
Dealer is Land Rover West Chester and we worked with Chris Cuthbert - very knowledgeable and personable guy and he made the purchase very easy!

Scottrocks...are you in the West Chester area? Do you use an independant place for any service on your 99? I have a 2000 that I am thinking on replacing my waterpump, but I want a backup place incase I decide not to do it...

I bought a Tonga Green 2006 LR3 with nav, etc. for $17,500 from United Auto Imports in Virginia a few months ago. It had 33K on it and the balance of the factory warranty. Looked brand new and I am extremely happy with it. You have to deal with some middle eastern sales people, but they were nice and the transaction was a cinch.
