Default Lr3 problems?

We bought our Lr3 in April and with only 600 miles the red oil light came on. The dealer couldnt get it to come on and said they couldnt pin point the problem but replaced the oil pressure sending unit thinking that was the problem. At 1200 miles the light came on again and stayed on. They replaced the electrical panel. At 2600 miles it came on again and is currenly in the shop. They have no idea whats causing the problem. Beware Land Rover only covers $24.00 a day for a rental car. That will get you a Chevy cavallier. Bmw covers $50.00 a day so for the $50,000 you spend with them you at least get to drive a comperable car. Please let me know if anyone has had any problems?

Jeff,

I understand your frustration. However the light is most likely not due to low oil pressure. There is info available about water ingress into electrical connectors that 'can' cause this issue. Be polite, firm, and suggest that you want a Land Rover Field Service Engineer to investigate the matter.

That should get the job done. If not, let me know.
