LR3 as a snowplow vehicle?
It's snow season here in the tip of the mitt Michigan, and the plow guy has come by and plowed (without asking is we needed it ) and they get $50 a go.
I have considered using my LR3 as a plow rig, if for no ther reason to keep my driveway clean, too much to shovel as a practical matter. The LR3 is heavy, built like a brick outhouse, the 4.4 has the power to push a wad of snow and isn't as large as a typical pickup and has better balance. Seems to me to be a perfect plow rig.
So has anyone done this? On a good snow day a guy could make some money!

The issue with turning the LR3 into a plow rig may be fitting a plow. I am not aware of any US company that would make a plow mount. So you would have to go custom and when its all said and done, might be cheaper buying an old pickup with a plow already on it. Or better yet, an ATV setup. So it certainly would be doable but I would never plow more than your drive. Plowing in general is pretty hard on vehicles. Thats my 2 cents.
