Default LR3 splitting the third row

Has anyone tried to separate the two seats? I see they are one unit, one flimsy unit. But the bolt patterns make separation possible without causing a mounting issue. I only ask because with my camper conversion I would love to gain some extra cargo space. If only a few inches. But I want to keep one side for a mobile office space/eating area with seating. When not in use, that seat folds flat and becomes part of my sleeping area. The other reason I ask is I have not taken mine out to really take a close look at them and I have not found any close-up pics online that show how they are joined. Seems all straight forward, but here I am asking anyway.

I have to admit I never have looked at it. Abran might know as he for sure has dismantled a few LR3

The aluminum rivets from the seats to the plastic piece are holding the seats together. I had typed that, but most have lost it when submitting the pictures.

Oops, I see this thread. So just rivets to remove. Thats great news. Easy to remove and then replace if I want to install the seats again. Non-destructive, I prefer that. Thanks for the pics!
