Default LR3 Storage Plates

Hello and thank you for having me here, This is not my first LR, I have had a series1 purpose build offroader, RR Classic 3.9, RR P32, Discovery 1, Discover td5 and this is my recent one and LR3. I'm after some info on the boot of the LR3 as I haven't got the seats, just the boot, an as such I do not have the handles on the roof for the passengers to hold on to, has the LR3 the holes to adapt the hand holders or is a matter of drilling onto the roof and if this is the case those the roof has a beare/cross-member so I do not drill straight of the roof?
Thank You

I would expect that if you drop the headliner down that the holes will be there.

My 2008 HSE is a 7 seater so, I had the handles and the mounting points. I simply removed the screws, slide the plate under the handle and replaced the screws. As for the bottom, I just used a sheet metal screw and put that in the plastic trim piece. As in that picture, I did have to remove the cover for the storage area. I hated having to fight that to get it open so... win-win.

I also have a 2005 that is a parts car and it is a 5 seater and the handle mounting points are there, you just need to reach up from the window side to locate them.
