LR3 Suspension issue.
I had an intermittent fault with the LR3 2005 4.4 Petrol on the Central Display panel that shows the suspension and steering position.
Car ran fine despite the fault but there was a hissing sound of an air leak after every drive from the front right strut. It would always drop overnight.
So I got a New one from the UK and refitted it.
Ran the car for a few minutes before putting it down from the jack.
The new strut does not seem to get any air. Does it need any other form or priming or purging of the system to activate the system or reset it
Is there Any way of checking or doing this without the Central display working.
To make it worse, the alternator died 2 weeks ago. The car was running and suddenly all lights started coming on one by one and when I turned it off and then on, the car was dead.
Got a New battery and when I hooked it up, there was a big bang from where the alternator sits. SO I removed the alternator and got a new one fitted which also does not work. Tested its output voltage with engine running and batt cable removed from it and there is no output.
Could the alternator dying have put some of the features in limp mode.
Any recommendations for
a. Getting the suspension back to normal (It only shows HDC not working on the panel) No other lights.
b. Alternator check if its causing any issues. CHecked the 5 amp fuse in the engine bay which is fine.
Many thanks

Do you have an IID tool?
Do you have any diagnostic equipment?
Have you pulled the F26E fuse when lifting the truck?
Does the compressor turn on?
Low Voltage can do a number of things, on any vehicle.
