LT or passenger tires?

LT or passenger tires?
I've been doing some online tire shopping lately for my 08 LR3 SE. I'm pretty set on the 275/65r18 Goodyear Duratracs. I had some on my old P38 and they were pretty good for what I used them for. In my online shopping I have found that I can get 4 LT tires for only $20 more than the passenger tires. I don't really tow anything heavy. (Maybe a seadoo or utility trailer a few times a year) but for $5 more a tire I was thinking why not get them even if they are a little harsher ride. Also I am running rods so I think I should be good on the size. If I am not please let me know before i drop a grand on some shoes that rub. But any help in deciding which tire would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I just put 265/60/18 KO2s on my 2006 LR3. The ride is definitely different, bouncier and a bit dicier on curves. But, they plow through water puddles (at speed) like they aren't even there. Obviously, quite a bit more traction in mud too. I had Hankooks on it before that were getting close to the end.

Thank you all for your input, I think after looking at it I'm going to go with 265/65r18 GY Duratracs. I didn't realize all the work that the 275/65's would be with the fender liner and the rear AC hose. And since I'm not hauling anything I think the LT would be a little overkill. But I am still open to tire suggestions especially towards the BFG at ko2
Thanks again

Both the D-Tracs and the BFGs are good tires for the LR3. I think the KO2 are considered a bit more durable while the Duratracs seem more aggressive to me, and I've heard good and bad things about them. Their performance seems to vary from vehicle to vehicle.
(then again, I can say the same thing about the BFGs. They've mostly been good but I know at least one LR3 driver that did not fare well with his.)

I still don't think I've found the right pressure for the front and rear tires for the KO2s yet. Discount Tire filled them up to I think 40 all around and the TPMS light stayed on. (I was assured it would just disappear as the system learned - I learned that Land Rovers must baffle regular mechanics.) The light went off when I bumped up the rears to 46 I believe. The on-road handling improved greatly with that change. I need some time to try different pressures. Any recommendations from you more experienced guys are definitely invited.
