Magnetic Body Protecting Sheets

Magnetic Body Protecting Sheets
Contemplating the scratches I got from off-roading last, I was wondering, has anyone made their own magnetic panels to put on the body to protect it from tree branches and other scratches?
Would magnets even stick to the body? I know a large part of it is (non-magnetic) aluminum. Obviously wouldn't need to be too strong or even fancy looking as it would probably be something you would put on right before hitting the trail and take off as soon as you are done.

Ideally, it'd be cool to have something I can slap on and take off when I'm done wheeling.

seems to be a lot of smart *** remarks instead of replies, so here is a serious answer.
The only panels on LR3 that are aluminium are the hood and tailgate. Magnetic skins would work on all the side body panels.
Magnetic skins are a very practical solution for light to medium duty off roading. Anything too serious would provide enough friction to grip and peel off the skin. But then anything too serious would certainly leave scratches between the skins (at the body seams around doors) or possibly even damage the metal panel with dents.
Plasti dip is not the solution for every problem regarding changing paint colour or providing "protection"
If you cannot find premade Land Rover vehicle specific magnetic trail skins on the market, my suggestion is that you invest some money into very well made custom skins to suit your needs and talk with your shop to provide a product to the public. There would be a good market for such a thing and if it is not already mass produced then doing so could yield a fair profit for anyone willing to invest in a CNC cutter.
It is not in the cards for me. I keep my 3 dirty to help hide the "British Columbia pinstriping". Someday, I may invest in a custom graphic wrap for business advertising and body finish protection, but for now this Rover is being used as designed and is no longer shiny by any stretch of the imagination.
