Might be looking at a 2006 LR3 with an alleged bad engine. My question is are these engines easily found? I know they are Ford engines but can you find them in Ford cars that swap right over? I don't even know the damage to this engine yet, just looking for some quick info.

car-part doesn't show it as an interchange, so I'm guessing something is different. Perhaps if you strip it down to a long block it could work?

 

Most likely its the same long block as a same era explorer v6
