Default my new expedition rack half floor

I installed a half floor on my expedition rack so it would help distribute the weight load and also protect part of the glass roof. The half rack also lets light in from the front and far rear part of the glass roof. I used 3mm thick aluminum sheet and grip tape. Covered the edges with black gorilla duct tape so no sharp edges, I also put weather strip on the cross bars so it wouldn't chatter at high speeds. All for under $40. $20 sheet of aluminum, $4.00 weather strip, $12 grip tape and $3.00 for nut & bolts.

Should try the black chicken coop flooring. Its thick and durable. Also it will let all the light in...

I had it on my rack on my D1. Just need thick tie straps...done.

I know this is considered grave digging, but this is precisely what I want to put on my disco 2.
