I find that button more useful for turning on headlamp and reverse lamps. Great feature at camp. What I really wish is for a remote with more functions! Then we can use all of them instead of just one.

Yeah, I used it in the same capacity, and loved it while camping....then I got neurotic about cycling my Xenon lamps too often since their failure is more closely related to on/off cycles than total burn time. Also, in an emergency situation in which the normal means of opening the hatch has failed, the backup opening switch would be nice to have. So now I just make sure to have a dang flashlight, in camp.
