Default Need a little help here

Today I was checking my Lr3 2006 SE 65K AND I SEE A small ( i ) simbol on my cluster when I press the button on my turning signal and I go through all the menu at the end it say

HDC Fault System Not Available


Everything works properly i think car was in garage for 6 years I just started driving it yesterday maybe my battery is not gucci?

Now that it has been running, switch it off, then restart and see if it has gone away. Check the battery voltage. Engine not running 12.4 to 12.8 volts, engine running should show around 14.4 volts (alternator output). Some vehicles will work out side these voltages but in general that is what an LR requires all the time.

So many things to check (especially coming out of storage). Try a search on this forum for HDC FAULT I am sure there is a wealth of information to help. Often times reading about a problem that was fixed by someones else leads you to a part or issue you had not thought about.

To give a reason to do the search, it could be as simple as replacing the brake light bulbs, brake light switch, or as complex as a bad transmission or anti-lock brake ECU, or a bad ground to one of the ECU's.

Keep up the diagnosis, you will be rewarded with a very capable car when you have it all sorted out.

I can see 1 on my rear break light turning of when I press the break pad driver side but the other side is good

I did a tune up and forgot to top up the oil I was very low on oil 2.5 q of oil sort car was smoking like q chimenea thanks got i check the oil level everything is working good now

I replaced the pcv valve too

yes I did a full tuning up im just waiting for the transmission oil metal pan conversion already got the fluid for it
also I want to do the front and rear diff and the transfer case fluid change

car off and car on


car is running good now only I feel a small hesitation at cold start
