Hi all! This past October my D2 got totaled and I ended up replacing it with an LR3, which so far has confused the hell out of me mod wise (why must everything be on the same wiring loom?!?). I'm looking to beef the front up with a new steel bumper and replace the beaten up rock sliders and find some coverage for the air compressor or a way to lift it out of harms way. I'm look recommendations for front steel bumpers and sliders, as well as good roof light mounting spots.

On another note I've recently moved to Merced for college and looking for off-road trails around here and people to off-road with.

 

There are some rock sliders available that cover the compressor. I'd go look around on Lucky 8.

 

Prospeed make a nice mount for lights. And yes, the compressor is in a dumb place. I have smashed a couple covers but never damaged the compressor itself yet.

 

Lucky! I came super close when my back tire slipped off the rock I was on and smashed the air compressor, pushing it up into the body and the entire car would rattle and vibrate when the compressor clicked on.
