Default New goodyear duratracs but swaying more

Has anyone install Goodyear Duratracs on their Lr3 and notice more sway? I just got new ones installed a month ago and it feels like there is more sway at higher speeds. I'm thinking its due to softer side walls? I had hankook atm dynapros before and they were great, got a great deal on the Duratracs I couldn't pass on.

My goodyear ultra AT have more sway than my MT's as well. Pressure was part of the problem but I decided it was the softer side wall in the end was the main contributor

So if I add a little more air to the tires it should alleviate the swaying somewhat?

Yeah I checked my tire pressure and they were around 35psi front and about 40psi rears. I pumped them up to 44psi all around.

I just put Dura tracs on mine as well about a month ago as well. I figured the sway was from my 16 year old shocks, but Now that you bring this up.... I have 265/65/18’s. Guess I’ll check my pressures tomorrow.

@mx468 What size and load rating did you end up going with?

Those 116S rated tires are probably SL load rated which should be around 2765 LBS per tire at 51 PSI. Should be no problem handling the load of your rig. Like others have mentioned, I'd play with the pressures until you get the feel youre looking for, along with good even tire wear. You can also do the Chalk test to ensure you're not over/under inflated.
