Hey there, Happy 4th of July to you all

We just bought our 2005 LR3 on Canada Day.

Unfortunately it did not come with the owner's manual, and I have a question regarding the flashing red light at the bottom the tachometer.

I thought it might be the alarm, but it starts to flash when I open the door and before I lock the doors after exiting.

There's a YouTube video about it being the service light, but the hack to turn it off doesn't work.

If someone can set me straight I'll buy the beers.

It just means the immobilizer is active. You can find the owner’s manual and workshop manual with google.

 

I just found the workshop manual. I knew there was one out there somewhere since I had downloaded the manual for our Jag.
