CMB6S,, where did you get your dash mat? How much was it. It actually looks pretty good. I had the same issue with Land Rover North America, I have voucher for $800 for the new part, dealer wants about 5 or 6 hours labor to r and r the dash. I could do it, been there done that on the Range Rover Sport, it has cracks too, I should have replaced it when it was out of the truck.....that is another story. thanks for the posts, Phil

Yeah, like I said, for $45-50, I was pleasantly surprised. The key is low expectations! :)
I got my dash mat from dashcare.com. It's the tech black material and my only real issue is the lack of a cutout for the center channel speaker. I don't know if there's anything they could do about that if you called them to place the order instead. Perhaps they could add one since it seems like they custom make each mat on the fly.

that might be nice as a dash cover too, for when it's out in the sun....so that those of us without cracks can remain crack-free.

Say "no" to crack!

That's got to be the best looking one I've seen so far.... is there nobody that sells a kit that allows you to seal the crack together and then roll on a coat of a flexible uv stable polymer?

Also, as this would render the passenger airbag useless, is there a way of disabling it when someones in the seat?

Hell I just ordered one....for like, when I'm detailing and the Rover is out in the sun for hours...you know, for the 3 weeks that it's sunny in WA. :)

Maybe good for camping trips and such, too. For $39 it's kind of a deal.

Anybody ever try a vinyl wrap on their dash... would need good skills stretching the material up by the windshield fo sho.

Has anyone ever had their dash off or to the point that you could effectively vinyl it? Whats the hassle factor?

Thanx...
