Default o-rings on air pipes

I am set to tackle the job of reconnecting the air pipes on the front of our RRS. The pipes are plastic and have some small O-rings on them. I called the dealer regarding the O-rings, they don't have them listed. Has anyone swapped these out before? Is it necessary. Given that you have to remove the shock/spring assembly to connect the air pipes, I thought that I would change the O-rings so I wouldn't have to do the job twice? Any ideas? I could just put in a generic o-ring that looks to be the same size, but ran into issues trying to match up the O-rings on the heater core. thanks phil

Not sure on your lr3 but on my d1 I have been replacing all o rings with the green or the viton type, likely you will not find a match as they have been deformed from use, I get one close and been fine so far even on my rear a/c
Just put a little oil or vasoline on for assembly so they do not rip

I mean very little just so not dry

I went to hf and bought the o ring kits, stay away from plain rubber

Thanks Tom, I will give those a try. I am hopeful that someday all of these ancillary repairs will result in a running working truck......... Phil
