One owner, hit 160,000 miles today. Trouble free
Hit 160,000 miles today. Can't complain, it was a fully loaded 2006 LR3 HSE when I purchased it new. I've kept it stock since day one. Man do I love driving it. Driver's inboard arm rest is a little cracked, but the rest of it looks and feels brand new. I've always kept it protected, the rear carpet has never been touched by cargo directly. Have never had any major issues. Replaced the compressor and valve blocks, plus the reservoir, but thats it from my memory.
Love to hear it, gives me faith in modern manufacturing! But just in case this anecdotal evidence leads me astray, I have been playing around with a propane forge for hand forging. Bending steel by hand has been incredibly satisfying.

So awesome....I've got a 2006 that I've had for almost 2 years now; 207,000 miles. Total workhorse....and I have an '05 with 130k on the odo that I've owned since new; it's pristine despite many off-road adventures.
I firmly believe that the LR3 is one of the best 4x4s ever made.

Mine has 191.000 and running strong. "Knock on wood"
these vehicles if well maintained will last a long time, also I feel these (LR3/LR4)are the last best looking Landrovers produced. I'm still not sure of the new Defenders. I like the tech but not sure of the look.

Wow, 2 months late is still better than never. LOL. My driver seat cover is already cracked, I'm surprised yours is still pristine. Any cracking in your dashboard? I'm kinda paranoid it will happen to my dash, but I live in a mild climate.
