Default One Touch Windows

Do all years and trim levels of the LR3 have one touch up/down on the drivers window only? I'm upset that my '05 V8 SE doesn't have it on all windows. Just the drivers and sunroof.

It's unreal. As stupid as it sounds, once you have the 'one touch' feature it sucks when you don't. You would think on such a high-end vehicle that they would have done all 4 windows. It makes me feel a little better that it's not just mine or because i don't have the premium trim level. I'm gonna have my local car audio/electronics guy addit by way of a module.

Agree. Kinda stupid not to add feature at this level of vehicle. I miss it too!

Here's another thing for you to think about, while we're talking features. In most states it is mandatory to use headlights when it is raining. Even if it isn't in your state, it is always a good idea and a safe habit. Yet when it rains during the day time, it isn't always dark enough to cause the headlights to come on. Why not connect the rain sensor to the headlights and have them both come on together and be trully hands off?

My 2 cents.

Cause for many resons (mist, spray from other vehicle's washers) your rain sensor may go off for say 2 sec., than idle for 5 mins, then go again for 5 sec... headlights flickering this often would be annoying.

I'd rather make daylights mandatory 24/7, like in Scandinavia. But that's another story.

I had my local car audio shop install a module to make all the windows 'one-touch' up and down. It's so nice to have. I can't stress enough how this should absolutely be a factory standard option.

Please do tell the details. I'm very much considering doing the same!
