Parking Brake Shoes

Parking Brake Shoes
I recently got the dreaded parking brake actuator grinding noise and an error when trying to release the brake. I figured it was probably time to replace the pads anyway and the actuator jamming is usually the result of poorly adjusted shoes (from my understanding).
I had actually purchased pads about two years ago from Rock Auto when doing my wife's brakes as well. However, I put off installing them on the LR3 until now. Upon opening them over the weekend, everything looked fine (I ordered Beck/Arnley shoes - 0813201), but when I went to install them, the passenger side installed fine, but the driver's side pads were the wrong configuration. By that, I mean that in order to install them, I would have had to install them backwards (the actuating arm and the hex screw facing out instead of towards the car).
Just wondering if anybody else has ordered replacement EPB shoes and had the same thing happen? One side fit, but one side not... Obviously, it's a bit late to try and return them to Rock Auto, so a new set has been purchased and I'll be curious to see whether I get the same configuration.
