Default A Pillar Handle

Has anyone found a way to add a handle to the A pillar to assist with getting in and out? I have them on my Ram Power Wagon and they are saving the side of the seat cushion when people slide out and pinch the side of the seat cushion causing the classic hole/rip in the exterior side of the seat cushion. I am about to fix the LR3 cushion but would like to prevent it from happening again... Any suggestions/ideas/thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance for considering it!

There is an airbag behind the pillar so it’s probably not a good idea to put something hard in front of it.
