Is it possible to put the 4.4 V8 of LR3 into LR4 ?

Can a blown LR4 5.0 V8 be replaced with a LR3 V8 4.4?

You have an LR4 also?

Its possible I suppose, but it would be a lot of work. I dont think its just a simple engine and ECU swap, there would likely be a few sub-systems that would have be changed as well.

physically sure not a problem. Getting it to play nice with the electronics would be the interesting part as noted.

No..I saw an LR4 with a damaged Engine that looked in very nice shape..was just wondering but I don't believe I know any good mechanics ..only average ones.
