Work great I have them on 1 of my trucks. No issues with them at all. Rides just the same only taller.

Yes they are a good idea, and no issues.
And "Proper Spec" is Lucky8, so you'll have no worries with the vendor > https://www.lucky8llc.com/collection...+ac2-lift-rods

If I install these, then my LR3 will stay at that same, raised height all the time? I won’t be able to adjust it down any?

It will still raise and lower everything will be 2.5" higher.

You probably can but just not in the same range as without them. Do you have an IIDTool? If you don't, you should. If you do, then you ought to know that you can create and save a taller height setting and use it when you want. No hardware.
