Proud Rhino LR3 Power Panel
#11
Bbulldog, I took a look at the Tuff Rok power panel this morning, because I didn't know what was included. Because the Tuff Rok panel has no switches, your wiring harness would be simpler than mine. You just need to wire one 12V and one Ground to each item on your panel, so don't let the way I wired my switch panel intimidate you. You should still just have someone do it for you if you don't feel comfortable with wiring dashboard electronics because you need to be mindful of which prong you wire to 12V and which to ground for each component or you risk damaging them.
Petru, I think I get what you're saying now. I made my own custom harness for the back of the power panel, even before I decided to go with the CARRS 4x4 option, because the quality of the Proud Rhino wiring harness wasn't great. Instead of cutting off the OEM connections from the LR3, I just crimped male spade connectors in the appropriate places and plugged my wiring harness into the OEM connections.
