Default no power

2008 lr3 hse

would anyone have any idea why i have no power to my heater switches.my radio on top and the cigerette lighter below have power
i checked the fuses and changed the relay in the fuse box
is there something else i could check
(just joined the site)

Which fuses did you check? I think the fuse for the Climate Control Panel is #51 (10A) behind the glove box.

yes i checked number 51
i also removed the climate control panel to check for power and the power is going to the conection behind the unit
it looks like i need a new switch panel, it dosent even light up when the head lights are on
i wonder if i get a new unit is it a straight swap or does it need to be programed
thank for getting back

A lot of these items actually switch an earth, so you may have volts but no earth. Check the grounds to the panel and its connectors.

It is best to have them programmed, as they may contain VIN specific software, however if you get a numbers matching used unit, it should be "plug and play". When the unit in my 2008 went out, I swapped in a used one and it fixed my issue (always blowing hot on passenger side, it wasn't the actuator). I only programmed it because I could.
