Default Question on buying a 2006 LR3

Question on buying a 2006 LR3 V8 (23k miles, $21,995) for the wife.

She is coming from a 2006 Jeep Wrangler. I have had a lot of new cars in the last 5 years, Xterra, WRX, 135i, Jetta, GTI, etc...

What can she expect as far as the mileage change between these two vehicles? I know the Jeep gets terrible gas mileage as it is. Does the Land Rover V8 require premium gas only? Does theLand Roverhave a factory warranty until 60k miles to cover us a little bit?

The reason for switching cars is we need more room for family members and trips. The Jeep is just too small.

thanks for any newbie tips.

Premium is not required, but your mileage, performance and engine wear will suffer.
14-16 mpg around town.
The warranty is only for 50k and I'd strongly suggest getting the extended from LR if you can and intend to keep the vehicle for long after the initial 50k.
Also check what size wheel you are getting (try to get the 18). While the selection of 19's has improved there are still more/better/affordable options in the 18.

Best of luck
